Biography

Jim Moffatt spent the majority of his professional career with Deloitte Consulting.  Based in Los Angeles for the past 35 years, Moffatt served as Chief Executive Officer of the global Consulting business for nearly three years. Under his leadership, Consulting was the fastest growing business unit within Deloitte, growing revenues from $9.8 billion to $14.3 billion, and headcount from 54,000 to 75,000 employees. Prior to this, Moffatt led the U.S. operations of Consulting for more than four years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (with his last year serving both in this and the global role). Moffatt was initially elected a Principal of Deloitte in 1994. Moffatt serves on numerous boards and committees, including as Vice Chair of the Board of Advisors at the UCLA Anderson School, Chair of the UCLA Chancellor’s Cabinet Council, Bridgepoint LLC, Optiv, Icertis, SparkCognition, Kyriba and CNS. He previously served as a Trustee and Chair of the Corporate Council of the American Film Institute. Moffatt graduated from University of California at San Diego with a BA degree in Biology and Management Science, and obtained an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
