Biography

Bryan Gillette has over 25 years’ experience in Leadership and Organizational Development with executive and senior-level responsibilities. Prior to consulting, he was on the Executive Committee as the Vice President of Human Resources and Payroll for a mid-size, global technology company. He has run Leadership Development and Communications functions for a variety of companies. He has experience in organizational design, communications, and coaching at all levels on a variety of issues such as change management, performance improvement, team effectiveness and communications. He takes a pragmatic approach and brings firsthand experience having managed functions from 2 to 270 people. Bryan has taught leadership courses and consulted with executives in many countries. With the consolidation of companies over the years, he has integrated over 40 acquisitions ranging from 8-person to 1,000+ person companies. He holds an MBA from California State University and two Bachelors’ degrees from University of California, Davis in Organizational Behavior and Communications. To give back to the community, Bryan started up and ran the Bridge of Opportunity, a 501(c)3 foundation, to provide foster kids scholarships to attend college. He was the Co-Chair and founding Board Member for iGATE, a non-profit incubator to assist green-related start-ups. He currently serves as a mentor for Santa Clara University’s Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. Bryan is an ultra-endurance athlete and has completed many long-distance cycling and running events including bicycling 4,000 miles across the United States, cycling 300 miles in 24 hours, and running 200 miles around Lake Tahoe in 76 hours. Bryan has also traveled extensively to over 60 countries. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two boys.
