About:
Marcy has over 30 years of experience in business – people leading, marketing, and operations- and more than 15 years in leadership and transition coaching and consulting. In her one-one coaching work, she helps midlevel and senior leaders to gain self-knowledge and clear paths to inspired and confident action in the midst of great challenge, complexity and change. She has also supported hundreds of clients through career transitions, allowing them to find greater impact, purpose and meaning. In working with teams, she helps them build trust in order to collaborate, commit and align to support business priorities and achieve greater possibilities. Marcy coaches senior leaders, mid-level and first-time managers, and teams at all organizational levels, and has been effective in partnering with enterprise organizations, smaller brands, early- stage startup ventures, non- profit organizations and municipalities.
Specific areas of coaching, training and speaking focus : crystalizing leadership brand and presence, the power of “connecting” (not soft) skills, maintaining organizational values and culture within a hybrid world, the power of curiosity over knowing, developing a conscious leadership mindset, growing a psychologically safe team, distinguishing story from fact (and why it matters), building a feedback culture, and more.
Committed to giving back to her communities, Marcy serves on multiple boards of non-profits and educational organizations, including championing young women entrepreneurs through her work with Women’s Impact Alliance and the Cartier Women’s Initiative, serving undergraduate students at Hillel at the University of Washington and supporting people addressing drug and alcohol addiction at the Recovery Café.
In 2023, Marcy was named one of the top 15 Executive Coaches in the Pacific Northwest.
