About:

Deary Paul Duffie has over 30 years of coaching and consulting experience in Organization and Leadership Development with Fortune 100 companies. He takes a 'whole person' approach to help executives and leaders define and achieve success; he focuses on assisting them to thrive in all aspects of their busy careers and personal lives. As an international coach, Deary invites his clients to challenge their thinking, appreciate cultural differences, and embrace  a growth mindset. Before coaching and consulting, he served on a global pharmaceutical company's People and Culture Executive Team. He has lived and worked internationally in Brussels, Belgium andSao Paolo, Brazil where he led the design and implementation of award-winning Leadership Development programs. 


Deary has extensive experience advising clients to integrate strategic plan outcomes with organization design, succession and talent management, and performance improvement. He has researched, designed, and developed succession planning and talent review processes for three Fortune 500 organizations. He has also created and implemented development programs for employees, managers, and executives to address gaps in their talent pipeline. 


Aside from his leadership work, Deary is committed to developing future leaders. He serves on the Advisory Board and lectures for the University of San Francisco's Masters in Organization Development program. He lectures in the University of California, Berkeley's MBA/MPH programs. He also volunteers in the Cal Scholars Program, coaching and mentoring African American, LatinX, and Asian-American undergraduates.
