Cath brings aunique combination of insights from the worlds of Olympic sport and international diplomacy to support her work with teams and leaders in organizations wanting to explore how to raise performance whilst supporting colleagues to thrive. Her facilitation, coaching and consultancy work focuses on developing teams and leaders with a strong emphasis on performance, motivation and culture. Cath also runs specialist programmes and workshops on resilience, women’s leadership and inclusion in the workplace. Clients include professional services firms and a range of organizations across business, sport and the public sector. A Visiting Professor at the Surrey University Business School, Cath also teaches on Executive Education programmes at the Judge Business School, Cambridge University. Cath studied Modern Languages at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, holds an MPhil in International Politics from the University of Wales and a PhD in German from the University of Reading. Cath is an executive coach and advisor to the non-profit organisation The True Athlete Project which supports the development of positive sporting environments. Cath lives in London, UK and appears in interviews on the BBC and the broader media as a sports and leadership expert, and writes in the media on topics of sporting and business culture. Her first book, ‘The Long Win: The Search for a better way to succeed’ is published in October 2020.
