About:
Andrea Hoban has twenty years of experience leading large teams and building businesses. As a Regional VP within the staffing industry, she had a $30 million P & L responsibility over a four state area. As a director of corporate learning, she established a global team of trainers that deployed job skills training to 10,000 internal employees. She built a reputation on successfully leading enterprise-wide projects, building teams and developing talent.
Over the last decade, she parlayed her ‘field’ experience into a leadership development and executive coaching practice. She has worked with executives from a variety of industries, including accounting, manufacturing, advertising and healthcare.
Most recently, she co-founded the edtech startup, Oji Life Lab, where she heads the learning and coaching functions. As part of that work, she develops and deploys learning programs designed to help professionals at all levels change behavior and improve the quality of their lives.
She is a functional expert in helping people develop the skills of emotional intelligence using Yale University’s evidence-based RULER model. She holds a BS in Communication from Arizona State University, and lives in Walnut Creek, California. Andrea recently served as Board President for St. Perpetua School in Lafayette CA and Board President for HerWisdom.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young women succeed by cultivating the uniqueness of women’s leadership.
