Biography
Elyse Lyons is a management consultant with more than 15 years of consulting experience in the areas of organization development, leadership program design, compensation and performance management. She is passionate about developing high-functioning teams and streamlined organizations. Elyse began her post-MBA career at Sibson, moving up to manage small- and large-scale projects. In her last 8 years at the firm, she grew into the role of client relationship manager. She was known for her ability to juggle multiple projects in very different industries and generated about $800,000 of revenue a year for the firm. She managed and trained junior resources in the firm. Prior to her work in consulting, she worked for 10 years as a teacher and administrator in a secondary school and as a tour guide and tour coordinator. Elyse holds a BA from Wellesley College, an MA in French from Middlebury College, and an MBA from Duke University. She has a Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) certification from IFEBP. Elyse serves on the board of the Aloha Foundation, a Vermont-based nonprofit that provides summer camps, family camps and education programs emphasizing simplicity, the outdoors and living in community. She is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish.
Background
- Led broad-scale, cross-cultural leadership program design and delivery for a Fortune 100 company. Focus of initiative was on increasing cross-cultural awareness and global collaboration. Training was delivered in both French and English.
- Designed an organization and compensation program for a major public university. Work included financial analytics, facilitation of division discussion, and training development and delivery.
- Led comprehensive performance management redesign, training development and delivery for an international pharmaceutical company. Included program build, design, co-delivery and evaluation.
