Deary Paul Duffie

Biography

Deary Paul Duffie has over 30 years of coaching and consulting experience in Organization and Leadership Development with Fortune 100 companies. He takes a “whole person” approach to help executives and leaders define and achieve success, helping them thrive in all aspects of their busy careers and personal lives. As an international consultant, Deary invites executive teams to challenge thinking, appreciate cultural differences, and embrace a growth mindset. Prior to consulting, he served on the People and Culture Executive Team of a global pharmaceutical company. He led the design and implementation of award-winning Leadership Development programs. Deary has extensive experience advising clients to integrate strategic plan outcomes with organization design, succession and talent management, and performance improvement. He researched, designed, and developed succession planning and talent review processes for three Fortune 500 organizations. He has created and implemented development programs for employees, managers, and executives to address gaps in the talent pipeline. He received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA degree in Liberal Studies from the University of California, Riverside. Deary is committed to developing leaders for the future. He volunteers in the Cal Scholars Program coaching and mentoring African-American, LatinX, and Asian-American undergraduates. He also volunteers with the California Association of Independent Schools where he leads anti-racism workshops for secondary school teachers and administrators. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the University of San Francisco’s Masters in Organization Development program. Deary lives part-time with his partner Daniel in San Francisco, California, and on the Tuscan coast in Castiglioncello, Italy.
