Biography

Carrie has over twenty-nine years experience in the field of leadership and organizational development. For the past decade she has run the Palo Alto Learning Group, an independent boutique consulting firm specializing in executive coaching, leadership, team and organization development. Previously, she was a Principal with the Tom Peters Group/Learning Systems, a Senior Associate with Interaction Associates and a Regional Manager for BlessingWhite. After working with consulting organizations for 14 years, she joined Adobe Systems where she started Adobe’s first Organization Development function and eventually headed up Executive Development, working with the top 1% of the company. Her last in-house corporate role was at Apple, where she worked as a Senior OD consultant, helping leaders and teams be more effective. At the Palo Alto Learning Group, Carrie has worked with a variety of leaders and teams at organizations such as: Apple, Airbnb, BlackRock, Brocade Communications, Cepheid, Cirrus Logic, Cisco Systems, eBay, Eventbrite, FitBit, Gap Inc., Google, Intel Corporation, LinkedIn, Lyft, NetApp, Palo Alto Networks, Pandora, PayPal, Pixar Carrie has her undergraduate degree from UCLA and a masters degree from the University of San Francisco in Organization Development. She has served as a visiting lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and two teenage daughters, where she serves as a Trustee of the Girls’ Middle School.
